X3 is going to happen, but it's not due out until 2006 - have you seen a script yet?
Rebecca Romijn: No. I think that they are working on something. I did hear that Avi Arad wanted to start working by the end of the year. So, I don't know. We'll see.
Do you know where you'd like to take Mystique next time?
Rebecca Romijn: You know, I'd like to see her not be quite so blue! I'd like to see them figure out how to do all of that makeup with CGI. But I think that's wishful thinking at this point and it's not going to happen.
So you've resigned yourself to being blue every few years?
Rebecca Romijn: Yeah, that's how it's been working out. It's such an emotional thing when I go up there and we have to do our first makeup test again, getting back into it. You know how smells cause a really emotional reaction? Well, as soon as they start opening up those bottles of paint and glue, I get really teary-eyed and think, "I can't beleive I'm about to do this again, I just can't believe it," but I can't knock it because it's just such a great thing to be a part of and it's such a great group of people. Bryan Singer is just a genius filmmaker and I'm really happy to be a part of that whole thing.
