Rebecca and Jerry on Marriage, Kids and Keeping Their Love Alive in Hollywood

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell have been happily married for four years, have adorable twin daughters Dolly and Charlie and look more in love than ever.

OK! chatted with the blissful couple at Nivea's Millions of Moments of Touch event at the Empire State Building in NYC, discussing marriage, kids and how they keep their love alive in Hollywood. Obviously, you and Rebecca have no problem with PDA. But how do you balance your relationship, kids and a career and still find time for one another?

Rebecca Romijn's family playing cards

With two Hollywood parents family time all together must be moments few and far between. So spending a whole day together in the park must have been heaven for Rebecca Romijn, Jerry O’Connell and their gorgeous twin girls. The family found a nice grassy knoll to sit down on and laid out a blanket to sit down on.

And while the acting couple can no doubt afford more high tech entertainment the family enjoyed a number of rounds of the card game Uno together.

Jaap Romijn - Designer, Maker and Creative Force

Port Townsend is blessed with a wonderful array of craftspeople. In this occasional series we'll highlight them. Plus we can be bribed - Undertown Coffees are a great currency.

Jaap Romijn emigrated to the US from Holland many moons ago and put himself through college working as a gardener. He's also worked as a street entertainer. Art and sculpture have been his first loves and that creativity shines through to his furniture.

11-27-2008: Family Thanksgiving

Taking some time away from their busy schedules to hang with the family, Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn were spotted heading over to Jerry’s mom’s house for Thanksgiving yesterday (November 27). The “X-Men” babe and her “Carpoolers” husband arrived bearing gifts - some pies and beer, and Rebecca looked like she was ready to pop.

Jerry O'Connell

Jerry O'Connell has a nickname on the set of his ABC sitcom, Carpoolers. "It's the big joke on my set. Everyone on Carpoolers refers to me as 'Stamos,' " says the actor, 33, who first connected with audiences as a child in 1986's Stand By Me. "Stamos," of course, is a devilish nod to John Stamos, the ex-husband of O'Connell's wife, Rebecca Romijn.

Rebecca and Jerry's Family Visit

Rebecca Romijn is taking fiance Jerry O'Connell to Holland this week for "a huge family reunion. I haven't been back in a couple of years," reports the gorgeous blond actress currently riding high at the box office with "X-Men: The Last Stand."

The Romijn gathering has been in the works for months. Afterward, the couple is planning a Euro vacation. "I'm taking a break. I've been kind of busy," notes Rebecca.

Rebecca's Family

Jaap Romijn: Rebecca's father is of Dutch origin and is a toy-maker turned furniture-designer. He came to California from Barneveld, the chicken capital of Holland. Jaap Romijn has build custom furniture at his own company "Jaap Romijn & Friends" in Emeryville, California. Today he is living in Port Townsend.

Rebecca's Youth Part 1

If you'd seen Rebecca as a child, dancing around to show tunes in her family's home in Berkeley, California, you wouldn't surprised that she wound up basking in the spotlight. "She wasn't a quiet, passive little girl," admits her mother, Elizabeth Kuizenga. Romijn admits that she was shy and awkward, wearing long johns under her pants to augment her skinny legs. Tamara vouches for it: "She was terribly shy. When she wanted to go buy something, I would take her by the hand up to the counter, and buy it."

What Book Got Rebecca Hooked?

Rebecca Romijn: Bridge to Terebithia is about two kids, a boy and a girl who become the best of friends. Out of their powerful friendship, and even more powerful imagination, Terebithia is formed. It is a fantasy world that is so exciting, they almost forget the real world exists.

Forget the movie — there's nothing that could possibly be better than this book...
