04-14-2004: "The Punisher" New York Premiere


The stars of Hollywood's latest comic book movie, The Punisher, were upset to wake up Monday morning to news that their castmate, movie star Rebecca Romijn, had split from her TV star hubby, John Stamos. Amazingly, word hadn't reached co-star Samantha Mathis until she was en route in her limo to the Cinerama Dome premiere Monday evening. "I just heard that getting here, and I'm completely shocked," Mathis said.

03-21-2004: Wizard World: Los Angeles Marvel Movie Panel


In one of the most entertaining panels any convention has seen, fans were treated to an inside look at the new Marvel adaptation of "Punisher." Actors Thomas Jane, Rebecca Romijn and Kevin Nash were joined by writer/director Jonathan Hensleigh, his wife (and the film's producer) Gail Anne Hurd, and Marvel's movie guru Avi Arad.

NBC's "Friends" will step up its already high beauty quotient when supermodel Rebecca Romijn makes a guest appearance this season.

Romijn, known for her Sports Illustrated and Miller Lite beer commercials and print ads, will play a paleontologist at the local museum who catches Ross' (David Schwimmer's) eye.

05-28-2002: Femme Fatale Special


On Tuesday May 28, a couple of days after the Cannes Film Festival, Entertainment Tonight ran a feature on Femme Fatale, featuring clips from the film and interviews with Rebecca Romijn and Antonio Banderas in Cannes. Amidst repeated clips of Rebecca stripping and getting intimate with Rie, host Mary Hart explained that "Femme Fatale comes from director Brian De Palma, who pushed the sexual envelope in Dressed To Kill and Body Double, which starred Antonio's wife Melanie Griffith .
