Romijn and the X-Men faithfuls (including Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry) certainly didn't disappoint the hordes of fans who made the first two movies into box-office hits, which together grossed nearly $400 million. "When we were doing the first one, we had no idea what we were making," she admits. "Most of us weren't familiar with the X-Men. But we all followed what the fan boards were saying on the Internet. It was so crazy. We totally felt the pressure.

Following a screening of "X2: X-Men United" for the Society of Composers and Lyricists Tuesday night (July 15), director Bryan Singer revealed that he has just finished writing a treatment for a third film based on the Marvel comic book series. While details are still fuzzy, here's what we know so far: The film will likely be centered more on Wolverine's (Hugh Jackman) story and Jean Grey's (Famke Janssen) transformation, while Storm (Halle Berry) may be completely absent or only appear in a cameo performance.
