Actress Rebecca Romijn is set to play Number One in the swecond season of Star Trek: Discovery. Anson Mount, who will play Captain Christopher Pike on the series, revealed the news during the Discovery panel at San Diego Comic Con on Friday.

Originally played by Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry’s wife Majel Barrett, Romijn will be the second actress to ever to play Pike’s second-in-command on a Star Trek television series. Romijn confirmed the news on Twitter.

The "battle of the brushes" continues as GSN, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, announced today it has ordered a 10-episode third season of the top-rated original hit series SKIN WARS, hosted by Rebecca Romijn (X-Men, The Librarians). The announcement comes on the heels of a successful season two finale, which drew over 1.1 million viewers.

TNT's Librarian franchise becomes a weekly series on Sunday, December 7, as Rebecca Romijn takes the lead as a new character, Eve Baird, in a series called The Librarians.

The series will continue to have appearances by Noah Wyle as Flynn Carsen, and it also stars Christian Kane, Lindy Booth, John Kim, John Larroquette, and Matt Frewer, among others.

Even if you're not familiar with the franchise, it's easy to jump on for the new series, according to Romijn.
